Produced in Canada with our manufacturing partner, Nutrimax Corp.
Manufactured under current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Free from added fillers, binders, artificial colours and artificial flavours.

Batch testing

Identity testing to confirm the raw material is saffron stigma and not a substitute.
Purity testing on every lot before release.
Potency testing to confirm crocin content, so the label figure is the actual figure.

Before you take it

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you:

are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding;
are taking any prescription medication, particularly antidepressants, blood thinners or blood pressure medication;
have a diagnosed medical condition, or are due to have surgery;
have a known allergy to saffron or to plants in the iris family.

Cautions

Do not exceed the recommended dose. High doses of saffron are not benign and are not made safer by being natural. Discontinue use and speak to a practitioner if you experience any adverse reaction. Do not give to children. Keep the container closed and out of reach of children.

Tolerability

At the recommended dose, saffron extract is generally well tolerated. Reported effects are usually mild and short-lived, and can include nausea, headache or reduced appetite. This is not a complete list, and individual responses vary.
